The American Psychological Association, or APA, establishes standards for formatting and cite articles for students and professionals in the social sciences. Many research papers and journal articles require a Essay at the beginning of it, which provides a synthesis of the work and findings. The APA style gives specific instructions regarding the format and wording of a Essay. This appears at the beginning of the document after the title page.
Include a page header that matches your title page in your Essay sheet. The header, which is the title of your work should be justified and in uppercase. It also includes the page number in the header, this justifies text to the right. The Essay page number is 2.
Write “Essay” page above. Central this text. Enter the first letter of the word capitalized and do not use any kind of formatting such as bold, italic and underlined.
On the next line, write a Essay of your work. According to the Purdue Online Writing Lab, the Essay should focus on the key points of your research and at least should include your “research topic, research questions, participants, methods, results, data analysis and conclusions.” Refer to my Battle a single paragraph, without using indentation.
Add keywords after the text of your abstract. Write “Keywords” (in italics) followed by some that you use in your work. Lina Centra text one under your Essay. This step is optional, but helps make your electronic document suitable for query databases.
